Dorah Momanyi, Kenya

Dorah is a part-time lecturer in the department of human nutrition sciences, at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Kenya. She has over six years of experience as a food scientist and nutritionist focusing on mainstreaming nutrition into agriculture and ending hunger. Dorah is the founder of the Nutritious Agriculture Network (NAN) and consultancy. She is also a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) fellow under the civic leadership track, and an Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) fellow. She has been trained in environmental health science laboratories in Japan, and the Glyco Mev and Cobra laboratories in the University of Rouen in France. She is a best poster award winner in the 2019 Hidden Hunger Congress.

Dorah holds a master’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
