Bertha is the team leader of BioInnovate Africa supported project on Nutrient-rich substrate blocks for growing mushrooms. She is a senior researcher at the Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organization (TIRDO). Her focus areas are in mushroom tissue culturing, spawn production and mushroom cultivation.
