Neilla Ntawuyankira, Burundi

Neilla a plant health researcher at the Agricultural Research Institute of Burundi (ISABU) and a lecturer at the University of Burundi. Her current research focuses on promoting integrated plant management strategies for smallholder farmers emphasizing on using plant extracts as biopesticides and other innovative methods. Previously, she served as a lecturer in different private universities in Burundi, where she taught a range of biology courses.

She holds a master of science degree in Crop Protection from Kuban State Agrarian University in Krasnodar, Russia, and a bachelor of science in Biological Sciences from the University of Burundi.
