Dr Ecuru is the Head of BioInnovate Africa. He holds a Ph.D in Technology (Innovation and Development) from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden. He has broad interdisciplinary expertise in chemical and bioengineering sciences, and extensive experience in regulatory science, research management, technology development, and innovation policy in Africa.
